I have a holistic approach when it comes to coaching volleyball. I like to look at all aspects of the individual player—physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. I know that athletes have other things going on in their lives besides the sports they play. Volleyball skills are important but teaching my players how to be respectful young ladies on and off of the court is more important to me.

This coaching approach involves a lot of relationship building and the commitment to each player as a whole athlete and person. While this requires some extra work, it can truly pay off in the end.
